Hi, my name is Chris, I have been knitting and sewing amongst other crafts since I was a small child having had very good teachers in my mother and grandmothers. I started my business in 2002 selling at local markets and then supplying my creations to local Craft Shops and a couple of wonderful little galleries in country NSW. The Gumtree Craft Room is a home based business in a small village situated on the N/W Slopes of New South Wales, Australia.

All of my handcrafted clothing and gift items are made from quality materials. My fabrics are quilt shop quality and the wools used in my knitting are top brands which also includes beautiful hand dyed and handspun wools.
